About this Ride
The event is located off Taharua Rd, SH 5 (Napier/Taupo Rd), about 25 minutes from Taupo. Arrows on SH 5 corner into Taharua then just past the one lane bridge, turn right into the forest (Homestead Road). The unique Taupo pumice makes it rideable in all weather, the rain improves the track. Over 100kms of rolling hills, winding gullies, cranking firebreaks & jumps. Millions of berms and mega traction. Suitable for all abilities on 2 wheels - NO quads or DOGS. Families welcome, camping available. Fire extinguishers compulsory for adult riders. Food and demo bikes available.
